How to unlock Caterpie
To add it to your League, complete its challenge — evolve 3 times during your runs — then weaken and catch it when it appears in your next run.

Goal: 3 - Catch it in your next run.
After the challenge is complete, Caterpie appears in a run. Weaken it and catch it — it only joins your League once it is caught.
"In a single run" goals must be met in one run; the others add up across all your runs. League-size goals count the partners you have caught.
Caterpie's moves

Caterpie's Ultimate
Caterpie has a signature Ultimate that changes as it evolves. Charge it by fighting, then press R to cast it.
Silk Net
You throw eight silk nets around you: they trap and damage anyone who steps on them for 4 s.
Fortress
The cocoon hardens: 4 s of invulnerability, a 40% shield and repelling waves, with a burst at the end.
Scale Storm
A cloud of butterflies and colorful scales puts to sleep, paralyzes and poisons over a huge area and ends in a gale.
Caterpie's evolution
It evolves into Metapod at level 8 and Butterfree at level 36.
