What is PokeBonk →Oct 20, 2026
- The Banish button works again: pick the card and press it again to confirm.
- Very long runs no longer make you invincible, and stunned enemies move again.
- Leaderboards and run saving load faster.
- Meowth's shop shows full prices and the restock button is now at the top.
- If you turn fullscreen off, it no longer turns back on every run.
- Lifesteal and Projectiles show their decimals, Rain Dance counts for the soaking task and the slot machine closes with Esc.
- At the end of each season the team reviews the leaderboard and hands out the rewards by hand, and every winner gets their results in the mailbox.
- We suspended 11 more accounts for cheating, and their records are off the leaderboards.
- Survival no longer turns into slow motion in runs over an hour: Night elites respect the enemy cap.
- “My attacks opacity” now also fades solid shots, like Razor Leaf or Sludge Wave.
- Your attacks no longer hit a Pokémon that is ready to catch, and the boss’s Great Ball no longer lands out of reach.
- If you’re removed from a clan you get a notice in your mailbox, and on mobile Battery saver no longer turns itself back on when you reload.
- On mobile you can tap the version again to see what’s new, and the Research notebook and the report form scroll.
- The pause key can now be changed in Settings, and Ctrl+D no longer bookmarks the page mid-run.
Oct 19, 2026
- The Reroll, Skip and Banish keys on level-up are now F, X and Z, so you no longer skip a level-up while walking backwards or casting your Ultimate.
- Windows that pop up mid-run ignore keys for a moment, and any keys you were already holding.
- Banish asks for confirmation: tap the card again to banish it.
- Esc opens the pause again without leaving fullscreen (hold Esc to exit).
- We've suspended another 38 accounts for cheating, among them the No. 1 of the global ranking, and their records are off the boards.
- More protection against cheating: invulnerability, made-up runs, and XP or stats edited from the start.
- Weekly tasks progress again, and what you played since Monday now counts.
- Fewer crashes on mobile when moving to the next zone or entering the sanctuary.
- R, S and B keys to Refresh, Skip and Banish on level-up, and E to spin the slot machine again.
- New «Uninterrupted Ultimate» setting: no slow motion or banner. It turns on by itself with Auto Ultimate.
- The pause screen shows each move's damage per second and your Ultimate's, and move sheets show how much boosts and passives give.
- The glossary is now on the Pokémon select screen too, and the Pokédex opens on the shiny if you have it.
- When you banish a move's upgrade, the card warns that it won't upgrade again this run.
- Esc takes you out of fullscreen in menus again.
- We've banned another 45 accounts for cheating, and there's more protection against it.
- The server now has much more room to handle everyone who's joining.
- The per-Pokémon leaderboard list loads faster.
Oct 18, 2026
- We have suspended 47 accounts for cheating, and their records are gone from the leaderboards.
- Freed up, among others: #1 in Time attack on Viridian Forest (Normal and Nightmare) and Rocky Desert (Nightmare), #2 on Viridian Forest (Nightmare) and Rocky Desert (Normal), #3 on Rocky Desert (Hard) and #17 in KOs on Viridian Forest (Normal).
- Dozens of spots on the Pokémon leaderboards are free too, including #1 for Mankey and #2 for Abra. If you moved up, this is why.
- More protection against cheating on the leaderboards.
- Fixed the purple screen covering the move list in «See all its moves» and «Still to get».
- Level-up cards no longer pop up the move sheet on hover: the full numbers are in the pause menu.
- The guardian's altar, the shrine and the portal always show on the big map again. Plus: map markers, a north-up minimap and the map without pausing by holding Tab.
- Runs get lost far less: fewer crashes on mobile, «Keep playing without image» if the image is lost, and the run saves itself even if the connection fails at the end.
- Every move has its sheet (damage, cooldown, range and what boosts it), there's a glossary, and you can check your build while picking an upgrade (Tab).
- Meowth raises his prices if you buy a lot from him without opening Poké Balls, and paid Poké Balls let you pick from 3 items.
- Controls: rebound keys now save, adjustable controller dead zone, auto Ultimate toggled with the Y key, and WASD works again in Firefox.
- Fixed bosses whose HP wouldn't go down, shinies that vanished when you caught more than 3 in a run, and Pokémon stuck showing as Poké Balls.
- In Settings → Account you can change your name, start over or delete your account, and you can now sign up with a name in any language.
- A Lab guide the first time you enter, tips during your first three runs, and a more compact interface on mobile.
- Fewer honest runs sent to review by mistake, especially ones played on a bad connection.
- You can hide the corner items in Settings → Interface, and a long build no longer covers the minimap.
- In Safari, sound now comes back on its own when you return to the game from another window.
- Runs recovered after the game closes are no longer rejected by mistake, and the ones rejected that way are now saved.
- Tougher on cheating: edited money and zones cleared without dealing damage are rejected and get the account suspended.
- Training no longer drops to zero in long runs: every level gives at least a third of what the first one did.
- You can bind any action to the middle, right or side mouse buttons in Settings → Keys.
- Auto-run (T) only lasts for the current run, shows on screen while it is on and turns off when you move back.
- Fixed: attack effects that stayed on the map of the next run, and the «Save to account» form, which could erase what you typed.
- Guest accounts no longer lose their progress when you press “Exit” and sign back in.
- Level-ups offer all their cards again, even when you only have one move slot left.
- The big map key can be changed in Settings → Keys, and “Taught by” shows each Pokémon’s portrait and name.
- Fixed: the Pokémon you were trying to catch vanished if you evolved nearby, the Friend Ball said Master Ball, items overlapped in the pause menu, and the arrow keys or gamepad moved the cards on their own.
Oct 17, 2026
- On mobile, the home screen no longer flickers or shakes with the battery saver on.
- The big map and the minimap only show what you have seen: they no longer reveal the guardian's altar, the portal or what is left in the zone.
- “Play with different species” now counts every species you've played, not just those of your last 30 runs.
- If your browser closes, reloads or you lose your connection, your run is no longer lost: when you come back it's saved with everything you earned, shinies included.
- Pokémon no longer show up as Poké Balls: the zone waits for them with a loading bar, and the game downloads much less after each update.
- New languages: Traditional Chinese, Korean and Russian.
- Big map (M key), compass points on the minimap and, once the guardian falls, everything left to pick up is marked.
- You can now see every move each Pokémon can learn, and the build of your runs and of other trainers' runs.
- Much better controller support: you no longer pick an upgrade by jumping, and you can do everything without a keyboard. You can also change every key and button.
- Auto-run, auto Ultimate, separate opacity for your attacks, a farther camera and subtle candies in Settings.
- On mobile: Meowth's prices show, the joystick and camera respond better and there's a battery saver.
- Fixed: Meowth freezing the run when everything was maxed, achievements that came back to be claimed, Sludge Wave that stopped firing, the portal that vanished and music that didn't come back.
- New option in Settings → Graphics: “Hide my attacks”, for smoother play when the screen fills with effects.
- Fewer honest runs go to review because of connection drops or minute 45 of Survival.
- Tougher on cheating: a suspended account can no longer be dodged by opening another one.
- Runs that keep going during maintenance no longer go to review for reaching the server late.
- The game's version now shows under the logo; tap it to see what's new in each version.
- Bonuses of the same kind now add up instead of multiplying: very long runs no longer shoot up to impossible numbers. A normal run barely changes.
- No item goes past its maximum: Ditto no longer copies the ones you have full and Meowth doesn't sell them.
- After picking an upgrade, opening a Poké Ball or charging an altar you no longer have to press the key again to keep walking.
- Level-ups and Meowth's shop respond even when you tap quickly.
- Pokémon that are slow to load no longer stay as Poké Balls for the whole run.
- Legendaries and guardians that last too long get exhausted and take more and more damage.
- Training gives less and less per level and no longer gives extra money; the old coins are back (0.2 ₽ per KO) with Poké Balls a bit cheaper than before Patch #5.
- Unown altars are bigger, the horde pushes you less while you charge and stepping out for a moment no longer empties the charge.
- The Master Ball looks purple when thrown, boss bars take less space on phones, the screen shakes less with fast builds and the Focus Band no longer grants immortality.
- Controller support in runs and in every menu.
- Less stutter on phones when the screen fills with Pokémon.
- Suspended accounts can no longer play or use the server.
- Economy rebuilt: market price, refresh Meowth's stock and your wallet at the top.
- More to do in Survival: comets, migration portals, regenerating altars, Ditto and Hypno.
- Hostile terrain in Survival: mud, brambles, quicksand and burning ground.
