Account & League
A new account picks only ONE starter; the other two need their own challenge.
Charmander and Squirtle each need 2 completed runs (win or lose), then a catch in the next run. After our 2 runs both challenges showed 100%.

In a run
Bulbasaur starts a run with 108 HP, 9 armor, 2 regen/s and 125% healing.
Vine Whip Lv.1: 24.8 damage, 0.8 s cooldown, 3.3 m range, 12% chance to root (pause screen).

The first level-up arrives about 30 seconds in, with 3 cards to choose from.
Ours: Razor Leaf (new move), Star Piece (+10 luck vitamin) or a Vine Whip upgrade.
Used in: level-up, beginner-guide
You start with 2 Refresh, 2 Skip and 1 Banish per run (keys F / X / Z).
We used one Refresh: the counter went from 2 to 1 and all three cards changed.
Upgrading Vine Whip Lv.1 → 2 adds +1 projectile and +22% damage (24.8 → 33.5 per hit).
Used in: level-up, pokemon › bulbasaur
Stacking one move works: Razor Leaf at Lv.5 dealt 51% of our damage and nearly doubled our KOs.
Run 1 (spread picks): 108 KOs. Run 2 (Razor Leaf to Lv.5): 210 KOs. One comparison, not a controlled test.

Map Poké Balls cost PokéDollars (₽), which wild Pokémon drop; open them with E.
Used in: modes, beginner-guide
Unown altars charge only while you stand inside the circle; stepping out drains the charge.

The big map (M) shows only what you have seen — except the guardian altar, shrine and portal — and takes up to 3 markers.
Guardians
Viridian Forest's Zone 1 guardian is Scyther, with 4,203 HP.
It woke at about 2:00 when we pressed E at the altar.
Used in: modes, regions, beginner-guide
Waking the guardian at level 7 ended our run 4 seconds later — Scyther still had 4,126 HP.
Lesson: level up and open Poké Balls before touching the altar.

FAQ
Are these numbers from the real PokeBonk game?
Yes. We created a fresh account on pokebonk.com (v0.7.7, Oct 20, 2026), played 2 Classic runs and checked every menu, taking 102 screenshots. Each result says whether we measured it ourselves or read it in the game's UI.
Why only a few runs?
This is our first test session on a brand-new account, which is exactly what a new player sees. We add new sessions after big patches and publish them here with the date and version.
What changes when the game updates?
PokeBonk updates several times a day. Our auto-tracker flags pages when a patch touches them, and we re-test the affected numbers; the version on each result tells you how fresh it is.
