How to unlock Mewtwo
To add it to your League, complete all 3 parts of its challenge (Have 60 members in your League; Capture Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres; Win the Rocky Desert on Hard), then weaken and catch it when it appears in your next run.
- Have 60 members in your League.
Goal: 60 - Capture Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres.
Goal: 3 - Win the Rocky Desert on Hard.
Goal: 2 - Catch it in your next run.
After the challenge is complete, Mewtwo appears in a run. Weaken it and catch it — it only joins your League once it is caught.
"In a single run" goals must be met in one run; the others add up across all your runs. League-size goals count the partners you have caught.
