How to unlock Staryu
To add it to your League, complete its challenge — cast 150 ultimates — then weaken and catch it when it appears in your next run.

Goal: 150 - Catch it in your next run.
After the challenge is complete, Staryu appears in a run. Weaken it and catch it — it only joins your League once it is caught.
"In a single run" goals must be met in one run; the others add up across all your runs. League-size goals count the partners you have caught.

Core Beam
The star bounces fourteen times and your core fires a beam of light that sweeps 360° around you.

It evolves into Starmie at level 36.
