Second beta update, with plenty of changes that come from your reports. Thank you!

Reworked bosses

  • Two-phase guardians: when their health drops they go into ==Fury== with a roar, attack faster and chain their signature moves.
  • New attacks: Burst, Shockwave (jump over it!) and, in Fury, Whirlwind, Skyfall and Hostile Ground. An escort of elites comes along, and if you run far away they leap at you.
  • Health based on your damage: each boss's health adapts to the damage you bring, so the fight lasts the right amount of time even if you arrive very strong.
  • No one-shots: a boss attack takes at most a third of your health. When it hits you, you're Wounded: your healing is halved for 4 s.
  • Minibosses: the Totem has more attacks and the Summoner hides and reappears far away.
  • Mew and Moltres get new attacks in the sanctuary.
  • Pokémon that heal or shield no longer make the guardian immortal.
  • The Cross attack (Scyther's X-Scissor, among others) gives more warning and hits less hard.

The boss numbers are new: if a fight feels unfair or too easy, tell us with "Report".

No-wait evolution

Final forms (Charizard, Arcanine, Nidoqueen…) evolve as soon as they reach their level, in any zone. Before, they waited for zone 2 even if you already had the level.

Abra: new passive, Magic Guard

Goodbye Teleport, which threw you out of altars and wherever you wanted to stay. Magic Guard: +10% special damage, immune to ground damage (lava, fire pools, cracks, spore clouds) and −30% damage from projectiles and area attacks.

Quality of life

  • Cards tell you which moves they affect: on level-up, on items and in the shop you'll see "Affects: …" and the cap of each vitamin or item.
  • Fullscreen on PC: a button in the main menu (next to the language) and in Settings.
  • Mute in background (Settings > Sound): the game goes quiet when you switch tabs.
  • Mobile: capture and evolution notices and banners are smaller and no longer cover the game.
  • iPhone: the game fits the screen without scrolling.
  • Replies to your reports: we can now answer you, and the reply arrives in your mailbox.

Fixes

  • Banishing the last option of a level-up no longer softlocks the game.
  • Moves taught by your League members are now of your type (Bulbasaur no longer learns Brine).
  • The golden Meowth no longer climbs the walls at the map's edge.
  • Diglett and Dugtrio are visible while moving (before, you only saw the dirt mound).
  • Dying right after beating the final legendary now counts as a victory.
  • Fewer runs sent to review by mistake (unstable connection, legendary then death, swarms with lots of items).

Keep using the "Report" button (main menu and pause menu): every report reaches us, and now we can answer you.

See you in the tall grass!
